On September 20, 2019, the inaugural meeting of the Violin Standard Working Group of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee and the first working meeting was held in Jiangsu Fengling Musical Instrument Group. Wang Wei, Secretary General of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee, and Deputy Party Leadership Group of Jiangsu Market Supervision Administration Secretary and Deputy Director Huang Yunhai, Director of Standardization Division Hong Miao, Member of the Standing Committee of Taixing Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor of Municipal Government Liu Ronghua, Director of Taizhou Market Supervision and Administration Bureau Gu Weizhong, Mayor of Huangqiao Town Wang Xiaoyun, and Vice Chairman of China Musical Instrument Association and Violin Branch Chang Li Shu and others attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Qian Fumin, Deputy Secretary-General of China Musical Instrument Association and Secretary-General of Violin Branch.

The establishment of the National Violin Standard Working Group in Fengling Group is the result of another standardization strategy in Taixing City after the reducer and acrylic materials. Afterwards, the guests on the rostrum issued letters of appointment to all members of the working group. Hong Miao, Director of the Standardization Division of the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Administration, made a summary report for the inaugural meeting, fully affirming the development of the Huangqiao musical instrument industry and its contribution to the standardization cause, and required the violin standard working group to study and study the "National Standardization Technical Committee Management Regulations”, effectively do a good job in the systematic work of standard adoption, formulation, revision and implementation, vigorously cultivate and introduce outstanding standardization technical personnel, and comprehensively promote the scientific and standardized development of the industry.
On the afternoon of September 20, the Violin Standard Working Group of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee held its first meeting. All working group members, expert consultants and relevant personnel from the provincial and municipal market supervision departments attended the meeting. The meeting first listened to the work report made by Li Shu, the chairman of the Violin Branch of the China Musical Instrument Association and the leader of the Violin Standard Working Group. In the report, Li Shu first reviewed the preparatory work of the working group. The main work of the working group in the next phase is from studying the national standardization policy, quickly promoting the violin standard system (revision) work, scientific implementation of international standards, and full promotion. Detailed arrangements were made in six aspects, including implementation of standards, strengthening of standardization work personnel training, and active service to the development of the violin industry. Subsequently, Qian Fumin, secretary general of the Violin Branch of the Chinese Musical Instrument Association and deputy leader of the violin standard work group, led everyone to discuss the "Articles" of the violin standard group work. Due to the solid preparation work done by the preparatory team in the previous stage, the first meeting also specifically discussed the draft of the "Cello Standard" that will be applied for revision in the near future. The participating experts put forward many reasonable, compliant and innovative suggestions. The draft of the standard is basically formed. Finally, Wang Wei, secretary-general of the National Technical Committee for Musical Instrument Standardization, summarized the entire day’s meeting and put forward clear goals for the future work of the Violin Standards Working Group.
